A memorable time indeed, this 4th of July…
I was extremely humbled to receive “Old Glory” from the honorable cavalrymen of the local detachment of Buffalo Soldiers, and subsequently hoist it proudly for the Overland Trail Museum’s Independence Day opening ceremony in Sterling, CO. A PROUD moment to be sure. Not long after, I found myself braggin’ about Buffalo Bill to the DJ’s at 105.7 KPMX, in a short pre-show Buffalo Bill Experience interview, captured here!
After which I had about a hundred folks wantin’ to hear all about Buffalo Bill, followed by author, Dr. Jefferson Broome, giving his presentation about the Indian Wars. I surely couldn’t ask for a better 4th… hope yours was amazing as well… here are some pic’s…

The Buffalo Bill Experience got to meet the Regimental Quartermaster of the local Buffalo Soldiers . He kept me straight on the mornings sequence of events.
