Here are a couple shots from last week’s shows at South Ridge and Iron Horse Elementary schools… now all these classrooms may LOOK the same as all the other classrooms, but lemme tell ya… every classroom is a new adventure. After talkin’ about how clever the Indians were in utilizing all the buffalo parts, I got stumped on “What did the Indians use buffalo hooves for?” Ok, ya got me… I know about the hides, bones, meat, horns, heart, bladder etc etc, even the POOP, but I admittedly got nothin’ for the hooves… so apparently I’ve got some homework to do. Another teacher said she’s never seen them so engaged… I’m hopin’ at least a couple of kids are going to get interested in history after seeing the BBE..
